I like the programme because I get to hear stuff that I don't normally
get to hear. I suppose the vast majority of my record collection could
be filed under the "white kids strumming guitars" label, but I love
hearing the dancey stuff as I don't frequent the places that it's
played.
The big problem arises when I go out and try and buy any of that stuff
that I hear. I usually don't have a clue what category (Drum and
Bass, House, Stripped Down Italian Speedcore, etc) it falls under
and have to ask the assistant to find it for me. I usually leave the
shop feeling like my dad.
