Peelennium picks up

Last couple of shows have been particularly largely to the arrival of
'proper music' to the Peelennium - great to hear Link Wray (1958, hard to
believe?) and Duane Eddy. And Lonnie Donegan sounded great live, admittedly
quite commercial and perhaps a bit showbiz and crowd-pleasey, but the sound
was so tight and professional - not too bad for a guy his age!
The Biscuits were on form too, it would seem, mainly for the wee cameos
between songs - "Can you hear Talvin Singh?" had me in stitches, and it was
good to hear 'Charlie Goth' again too.
