I heard some interesting info about the "John Peel Stage" that is supposed to be happening at Glastonbury this year.

Derby band Fixit Kid who recorded a peel session last year got in touch with Louise TheProducer to see if she could help them get a foot in the door towards being booked on the Peel stage and he was told that Radio1 have nothing to do with booking the line up and werent even given a chance to either. The promoter (presumably Michael Eavis) also failed to consult Sheila about using his name for the stage...

seems pretty insensitive to me...should be interesting to see who they DO book...
