Searched Strawbs 1974 and 1975 on Radio Times listings site and got the following three results:

The Sounds On Sunday listing seems most likely, although date is probably too early for the album release. Show introduced by Mike Black, but it may still have been JP on (minimal) interview duties.
Also wondered whether the audio might be from a Rock Week show around same era.
