Does anyone know the answers to these Peel riddles?
 

 1) A 17th century adult whose music got played by Peel because of his name and not his ancestry (6, 11)

 8) A town connected to John's name on an island, which he was photographed visiting (4 letters)
 9) Peel played this type of mat in 2004, but didn't think they were crap (7 letters)
 10) A first name that was linked to two American bands whose last names were connected to food, which Peel enjoyed in the early 90's. (8 letters)
