Yes I really enjoyed that one too. I too enjoy Fairport convention. I am away this weekend, but will be uploading more tapes next week. I also have the next program from peel’s pleasures  which is number 5 from the first series, with a David Bowie session.

Just heard that Peel's Pleasures and it was a real pleasure ! Loved the Fairport session (I love folk rock). The budgie reciting Shakespeare is amazing, no birdbrain was that Joey. My only criticism would be too much skeletal/raw blues, one such song per hour is enough for me. The Donovan track and Peel's tale of hearing it with a group of hippies inc. Bolan conjures up some mysticaland Withnail-esque images ! Thanks, Tim !
