Mark, yeah, I did explain that my intention was to upload them to the peel wiki etc, but he didn’t respond to that. It’s kind of amusing actually, he tends to sell the tapes not even including a cassette case, however I have noticed on his listings that he is selling job lots of empty cassette cases!!

I presume you have appealed to their spirit of collaboration and suggested they forego monetary gain (from something they do not own) so we can share the legacy with everyone purely for the love of music. If he has kept these tapes for such a long time he must love what they represent and surely should gladly share.

Having said that thanks for buying the tapes and sharing. Much appreciated.

Mark

Glad you enjoyed it! Yep, I thought the same that the CBGB stuff reminded me of the stones. I will be uploading more of the 80s box soon, and I am still keeping a look out to see if the seller of these complete 70s shows puts more up for sale. I did contact him and ask whether he would sell them as a job lot, but he was unwilling to do so as he wanted to get the maximum price for each individual one! But rest assured that I will bid on any that come up!
