The fear at the moment is that the BBC are rattling through them in order to wash their hands with the run as soon as possible. There's been no confimration that they'll move onto 1982 at all! (it's also possible that it might be in order to accommodate a combination of Proms, Sky at Night, Yewtree episodes and Olympic coverage)

I don't know if anyone else has
noticed, but BBC4 seem to be rattling through the repeats of
TOTP from 1981, and at this rate Peel will be on our screens
around the beginning of July. The 25 December 1981 edition
was presented by an assortment of DJs, including some of the
Yewtree brigade, and so will presumably not be shown. But
thereafter I think the Peel editions should be mostly OK to
broadcast.
