I probably started listening around 1970-71, rapidly developing a fondness for Beefheart & krautrock - there was no turning back after that...
I suppose the glory years for me would be roughly 78-83, to my mind an outpouring of staggering creativity that's never been matched before or since.
Shame there's so little of the early seventies left tho', who wouldn't want to spend a few hours in the company of (e.g.) Peter Frampton, Supertramp, Tir Na Nog et al... ;-)
