I think I can solve the mystery of this lo-fi Popguns set, as I recorded it as well! My copy sounds even worse though. It came from Radio 5's Monday night show "The Mix", presented by Mark Thomas. The programme came from Brighton's Zap club, where the Popguns played their set. I must have seen it trailed in the NME that week so tuned in to record it in glorious medium wave.

I think my recording had a bit extra in the way of intros and outros, but unfortunately I can't seem to lay my hands on the tape right now. Spookily, I also recorded the Heavenly session that follows on Rob's tape.
