In case anyone has missed it, today there is a column from Rhodri Marsden
in today's Independent about the time he was interviewed by John Peel on
BBC East Anglia in 1989 about his fanzine (Glottal Stop)

Aside from the interesting story, I hadn't realised that Peel did a local
show for BBC East Anglia in the late 1980's.
I found one of the shows on the wiki
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/24_December_1989_%28BBC_Radio_East_Anglia%29
but I've no idea how long he did this for? Anyone have the background? I
wonder if the shows were syndicated to any of the other BBC local stations?
