I seem to remember he was taking the piss out of some airheaded celeb who mispronounced the word 'gig' - can anyone remember who?

DB231 contained the usual 95 minutes of new show 16th March 1981. Dead Or Alive and Teardrop Explodes repeats.

Then DB232 is a bit of a jump to 6th April 1981. Another new show with Bodysnatchers and SLF repeats.

DB233 and DB234 are a couple of sound upgrades, 7th April 1981 and 9th April 1981. already available complete.

DB235 is another new show, 14th April 1981, with Scritti Politti's first session repeat, and the first play of Wah's second.

Finally DB236 jumps ahead again this time to 4th May 1981. A good portion of this was already available from a couple of 400 Box tapes, a couple of Mark's Mixtapes and a Karl Mixtape, though the order of some of the smaller snippets had been speculative. The Derby share not only confirms the order, but improves the sound, and completes the show.

Anyone any idea why John has in 1981 taken to referring bands' concerts as "jigs"?
