I've uploaded two short-ish recordings of Annie Nightingale's Saturday Afternoon Request Shows to Soundcloud and made them available for download.  One of them has Peel as covering presenter.  I was able to date this, after Googling, to 11.8.79 from the news headlines.  Both were on the ends of tapes I inherited from my brother many years ago that I've only just got around to converting to wav files.  Unfortunately no more of either show was on the tapes.  The sound quality of the Peel one is pretty poor, but is definitely worth hearing, not least for a classic Peel comment about Robert Palmer.  :)

I thought someone might be able to clean them up (for tape hiss, especially) before uploading to Moo.  Anyway, please enjoy.
