Capital Letters - a great band - still have 12" of Smoking. I can't wait to hear re-release. Their website has lots of stuff on it: http://greensleevesrecords.blogspot.co.uk/

This, and the continual posting of new material, is why this group is so precious and should be recognised and promoted to all as the official repository of tapes rather than have to exist in the shadows (post Cliff version of course  - although I do give him due credit for Move It I don't think they played on that)

Mark

P S I have been given a couple of DAT tapes at work - I have no use for them. Who wants (if anybody). Don't know what's on them but not music ...

I have the FLAC of the original rip of 400 Box tape T061, as ripped by Jimmystep. This is the 24th January 1979 show which was the first time the session was broadcast.

Will forward to Chris at Greensleeves.

Thanks for getting back to me Jim. I wonder if these are the tapes that
Rocker bought a while back.........

No worries, I have had a play with the two versions of the track, speed
corrected and combined them and uploaded them for Chris to have a listen
to.

Sorry, I transferred all the Peel stuff off the tapes, posted them on this
forum and then sold the tapes on eBay. No idea who bought it. Sorry I can't be
of more help.
