Both songs have the power to almost move me to tears because of their association with Peel.

Galactic Symposium "YMCA"
Golinski Brothers "Bloody"

As both songs were Peel favourites over many years.

I'd add some surf instrumentals, some Loudon Wainwright III, some Melt Banana, some deep soul, some happy hardcore and inevitably a couple of small extracts from Ivor Cutler.

Looking to do a tribute to JP on my show next week (justofftheradar.com), and was looking for suggestions on what track(s) I might play. I've done the usual stuff in the past (Fall, Undertones, Grinderswitch), so figured I'd start digging deeper. Any help appreciated...JoE
