"The Blue Rondo A La Turk Pete Conkerton track"

Well spotted! Presumably a nod to this:

...although neither of these are where I got my email name from (he said, mysteriously).

Cheers aye, Pete

OK that’s wikified here http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/Karl%27s_Tape_-_Early_February_1982 . I’ve not used the numbering system as I’d be taking a guess – there’s already
a Karl’s Tape 2 for March!

Haven’t identified the A Certain Ratio track yet – Shazam no help and I
gave up trawling through YouTube clips.

Enjoyable Jensen session from Electric Guitars. Almost an hour of the tape
is from the Peel Show of 3rd February 1982 so there is a page for that
now.
A distinct switch to MW for the Undertones track though sound changes
again  for subsequent tracks. The Blue Rondo A La Turk Pete Conkerton track
may well be the Jensen session repeat. No evidence of a switch to Peel later in
the tape though it’s possible that from Bloomsbury Set onwards that it could be
Peel.

Yes I "claim" this tape to be of those dates. Might not be but 3rd and 4th
are written on it. I also remember Halloween being on TV during side 1 but
anyway...

Its currently uploading to the moo. Bad news is it has pops , crackles and
flutters. Good news is I stopped them 10 minutes from the end of the tape and
now know why.I was getting that interference.
I had the bloody cassette player next to the modem !!!
I'll upload the 3l previously affected tapes one day although it does take
over 3 hours to do each tape ( mainly C120s )

The tape has different levels due to a mixture of strong medium wave and
weak FM signals, I think the tape is 75% Peel but thats just a guess.
