thanks Rob - I've been sitting on my batch of L tapes since I got them - nothings hatched yet - maybe next week! I think many of them will be likewise pieces of a jigsaw and I am sure that some kind soul will stitch them all together again ...

Subject: Re: [peel] New L Tapes uploads
Here is the full list of the batch of L Tapes I uploaded last night (including the corrected dates from Robin)
Many of the Peel Shows are duplicates or extensions, there could be a bit of fun editing work for someone out there who might
want to piece together more complete shows from these pieces and the existing rips. Where the wiki pages already exist
I've not updated anything due to time constraints
This is what we have in the batch:
20th Feb 1993
A new but incomplete show – sessions from Even As We Speak & The Ukrainians
No wiki page yet
26th Feb 1993
An incomplete section of this show which already seems to be available in full. Sessions from Codeine and Ecstasy Of St Theresa
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/26_February_1993
6th March 1993
An incomplete section of this show which is already
partially covered by a heavily edited tape from the 400 box. Sessions
from Werefrogs & Marxman
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/06_March_1993
20th March 1993
A new but incomplete show – sessions from Velocity Girl and Skink
No wiki page yet
10th April 1993
A new but incomplete show – sessions from Th' Faith Healers and Crane
No wiki page yet
11th June 1993
A complete show, but sadly one that already exists
in complete form (maybe some tape flips can be filled?). Sessions from
Ecstasy Of St Theresa and Truman's Water
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/11_June_1993
12th June 1993
An incomplete show, which I don't think adds much to what is already available. Sessions from New Bomb Turks and The Fall
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/12_June_1993 9th July 1993An incomplete show which DOES add an extra 45 minutes to what is already available. Sessions from God Is My Co-Pilot and Pulp
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/09_July_1993
10th July 1993
An incomplete show but adds a huge chunk to what
was already available via Weatherman. Sessions from Remy Ongala and
Oilseed Rape
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/10_July_1993
16th July 1993
An incomplete show but adds a section missing from
what was already available. Sessions from Royal Trux and Foreheads In A
Fishtank
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/16_July_1993
23rd July 1993
A new but incomplete show - sessions from Voodoo Queens and Skyscraper
No wiki page yet
24th July 1993
An incomplete show but adds a section missing from what was already available. Sessions from The Cords and The Nellories
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/24_July_1993
21st August 1993
An incomplete section of this show which seems to be available already in full. Sessions from Radial Spangle and Nectarine No.9
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/21_August_1993
2nd October 1993
An incomplete show but adds a big section to what was already available. Sessions from 70 Gwen Party and Magnapop
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/02_October_1993
On top of these Peel Shows there are also
Two incomplete Mixing It shows from Radio 3. January and 31st May 1993 (Rebirth Brass Band in concert)
The Welsh Composers episode from the Radio 3 "Music In Our Time" Series. 21st February 1993
Three incomplete Out On Blue Six shows from Radio 1. 21st June 1993 plus one from May and another June 1993
Four incomplete Andy Kershaw Radio 1 shows from 12 June, 10 July, 23 July and 21 August 1993
An incomplete section from Radio 4 Andy Kershaw In Malawi documentary from June 1993
All uploaded to my Mooo folderhttp://mooo.peelwiki.com/dl/RobF/

Many thanks for all of these; certainly a broad range of musical experiences lurking within them ...

>Couple of dates: 'Kershaw in Malawi' is actually June 1993 (it was a two-part programme broadcast on 1st & 8th June). 'Mixing It' with the Rebirth Brass Band is 31st May 1993. 'Out on Blue Six' from tape L312 is 21st June 1993 (the solstice reference gives it away in the first seconds).

>The 'Music in Our Time' recording (which would appear to cover the whole hour-long programme) is 21st February 1993 - but at my end it is simply one hour of silence, which none of the other files suffer from. I'm aware it might not be the highest priority for many people round here, but is there any chance of re-upping a corrected version?
