Well, this is a steep learning curve...turns out, after a few hours head-scratching and faffing about with Audacity, that I can indeed glue the files together - fruits of my labours so far in my folder on the Mooo. I'll work my way through the rest, then go back and re-do the first ones.
Good news: found another one in a misnamed folder, 19780304 Tom Robinson Band, Sad Café. Bad news: predictably, the only one that seems to be completely new (19771217 Alberto Y Los Trios Paranoias, Splinter) is incomplete - only the Albertos set, by the looks of it. Condolences to completists & Splinter fans, though the other half may well turn up elsewhere...
Cheers aye, Pau - er, Pete :-)

Far too many Pauls. That's why I get everyone to call me Haze.

I do indeed have a Mooo account, kindly set up for me by Branko some time ago, but I'd never had time to do anything with it - and been slightly scared of it if I'm honest, in a new-technology-baffles-pissed-old-hack stylee. Turns out even an old fool like me can handle it, though, so I proudly present my first Peel upload:
