Can't help you on the actual playlists unfortunately (though I'd be fascinated to see them too), but I do know that Billy Bragg first heard "Anarchy in the UK" when he was specifically listening to hear a High Level Ranters session, which has always fascinated me from the perspective of parallel folk movements that have more in common that either would have wanted to admit at the time.

(And makes me regret more than ever that the framing of 6Music & 1Xtra, along with the absence of Peel, prevent any one show today from playing, say, the Unthanks and Trilla next to each other, but that's a whole other issue ...)
