Sorted it out. You just need <ref> and </ref> surrounding the text then a bit at the bottom

which collects all of the references and numbers them.

How did you eventually identify the Farenji Warriors btw – if it was in Ken’s book then I must skimmed over it and not noticed the Jungle Call track which is about the only one which seemd to be anything like the most used lyrics in each track!

Also if you’re up for another early 80s challenge, assuming you haven’t already been pestered by me to identify it, how about the three tracks on my own Early Sep 1983 mixtape that remain unknown!
