would love to know the answer on this - there is no sign of the answer to this question ... thought it maybe had a sci fi connection but can't find out - I even emailed mr radcliffe but no one answered!

I remember! Just gave me an opportunity to mention the Peel sesh... 
So was Radcliffe's show named after the band? Or was Out On Blue Six an 
extant phrase or euphemism?
