A lot of new files to detail here today.
1) 03 September 1993 <http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/03_September_1993>
(Sessions: Flipper, CNN)
I shared the first part of this 500 Box show a while back, but now Colin
has discovered more material, which means that only a little over half
an hour of the show is still missing. CNN session now complete. Many
thanks to Colin!
2) BH008 of the Hinton Box has yielded no less than parts of four 1980
shows, two of them new to the catalogue, and another containing a track
missing from the 400 Box version.04 August 1980
<http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/04_August_1980> highlights the Elvis
Costello repeat, and none of the Passions session tracks were recorded.
The Waitresses track at the end of 07 August 1980
<http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/07_August_1980> is new, and 25 August 1980
<http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/25_August_1980> is a short file from
towards the end of the show, including a play for a novelty record that
will surprise a few. Finally, 26 August 1980
<http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/26_August_1980> adds nothing new to an
already complete show, apart from the fact that the selected tracks are
in (rather muddy) stereo. Many thanks to Brian and Colin.
3) 28 August 2003 (Radio Eins)
<http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/28_August_2003_(Radio_Eins)>
Carsten tells me that he only recorded two Radio Eins shows and this is
the second of them. A find, since this was missing from the track
listings and numbering provided by ckitlee. Is there any earthly reason
why the Nina Nastasia CD is blocked by the Wiki spam filter?!?
4) 26 February 2000 (BFBS)
<http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/26_February_2000_(BFBS)>
Many thanks to Carsten yet again. This completes the first two months of
2000 BFBS recordings. John is hacked off at recording the show on his
own while Sheila is out with her friends and the children are in bed.
5) 22 March 1996 <http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/22_March_1996> (Sessions:
Fugees, Panasonic)
The end of this show has long been available on one of the torrents, but
now thanks to Isector we have the rest. Since there is a considerable
overlap, a composite recording is possible (hi, Bill!)
6) 28 July 1996 <http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/28_July_1996> (Session:
Guided By Voices)
Again, many thanks to Isector for 'virtually' a complete show (there is
a tape flip).
All the bestSteve (TK)
