Hi Marcelle!

I was thinking, I'm not massively keen on many Fall covers - not because all of them are bad, but because MES seems to have great taste and picks amazing records to cover, which is always tough! Still they made a right pig's ear of 'This Perfect Day' by The Saints I seem to remember. Plus I thought the cover of 'Victoria' was a bit pointless - sounds like they were just trying to sound like The Kinks. It's usually better when they take an amazing song like 'People Grudgeful' and mix it up a bit. 

Looking forward to this show! Listening to two hours of awful Fall songs might prove interesting...

Hi, some of you might know my radio shows
(weekly on www.dfm.nu , tonight between 19  and 21 hours) and monthly shows on Dandelion (www.dandelionradio.com)
, FSK (Germanywww.fsk-hh.org) and Radio Fro (Austria  www.fro.at) .  I have been doing radio
shows for more than  25 years, have a huge record collection (over 15,000) and
still follow latest exciting music, preferably on vinyl. I make a living as a
live DJ, travelling around Europe, I also release mix albums on the Klangbad label
from Faust in Germany.
 
I have been a Fall fan since their first releases but every now and then get very disappointed,
like with the last album Ersatz GB, which in my view is full of uninspiring garagerock
clichés and uninspiring singing. Now I have thought of doing a Worst of The Fall
special, asking listeners to send in their least  favourite Fall song. My announcenment
on the Fall website prompted a lot of nice responses from Fall fans so in the
end we might get a nice enogh list. I ask anyone here to also send me the Fall
song they hate! My email address is mar.celle@...   you have to like The
fall in the first place, otherwise your entry will have no/less meaning.
