delurking to say thank you

Am delurking to just say a few words of praise to those involved with bringing these tapes to the wider world...

I've been on the list for a few years, but not really said much - and 
latterly haven't even been regularly downloading posted shows. However, I got bored with my listening habits recently and, spurred on by finding 
the John Peel's Record Box Ch4 TV show in the darkest recesses of my 
hard drive, downloaded a show at random. AND it was a revelation.... it 
was a 1999 show when John played his bootleg tape quality version of The Misunerstood's cover of Mona....I would *never* have heard this, and my life would have been the poorer for it...

So, a HUGE thank you to everyone involved in taking the time to make these 
files, I'm really grateful and even if I don't say much on here, I'm still gonna be out there listening (even if not under the 
bedclothes like I used to!)

Incidentally, has 
the record box ever been replicated in MP3 format and how close are we 
to a complete Peelenium (the show I heard was 1943 and a corker...)
