Excellent stuff.
The Beefheart session is one the 2 'Lost Sessions' repeated on 6th/7th March
2001 after an unknown benefactor supplied the BBC with recordings.
Maybe they're from the same source, in which case 12th May 1968 (the 2nd
session date) might also become available.

Beefheart (1st session, 1st broadcast), Moody Blues (Nights in White Satin
is a current chart hit), Hendrix and Tomorrow.

Historic stuff: this is Peel's first "solo flight" in TG and he has also
just been on TOTP for the first time earlier that week (and thanks Jimmy
Savile for looking after him). 

Many thanks indeed to wiki user "Johns Corner" and others responsible for
bringing us this. Hopefully more to come from the same kind of era.
