reading Mr Kershaw's biog and there is more detail - on p138 he tells the story of how he was responsible for gifting Carol to the world through a talent show he organised whilst working on a Leeds radio station - that they became "romantically attached" for three weeks in the summer of 1983 and she was part of his sisters band but that she quit the Blue Tits "in a huff" just before the peel session. The world is a curious place.
