While you are in the library, I always wondered if there was one
anywhere that contained old copies of "Radio Times".

That would be useful for dating lots of BBC R1 shows, sessions and
concerts including at 6:30 pm every Saturday, the "In Concert" line up

difficult, armed with these web links, rocklist pages etc, to zoom in
the years where we have a gap in knowledge, then try to find the NMEs or
MMs for that September...

always at the roughly the same time of year (like Dec/Jan)? So shouldn't
be too much of a mammoth job. You wouldn't have to go through them all
and the polls results were usually flagged as a feature on the front
page (as far as I remember).

and documenting these! (hard enough keeping on top of Football and

the Peel Wiki, but that does not look quite right or complete to me. I
am sure he won DJ of the year from Melody Maker (and NME, and SOUNDS,
and... whoever) many more times than that page says. Does anyone know of
the existence of any kind of definitive list of Peel's DJ of the year
awards, year by year, title by title?
