I still don't know where it is from but I've uploaded this medium wave
fragment here
<http://mooo.peelwiki.com/dl/coolcats58/AM%20Radio%20Live%20Show.mp3>
Beware! The audio quality is poor but listenable, just.

Simon Dupree & The Big Sound - Broken Hearted Pirate
DJ – Dave Symonds
Marbles – The Walls Fell Down
Staus Quo – The Price Of Love
DJ – Stuart Henry
Tony Blackburn – So Much Love (Cut)

If anyone has any clues to where, when, what or how, please let me know.

Enjoy, Haze

> My r2r no longer works so the few tapes I still have are archived at
the moment, though I am hoping to get a replacement machine later this
year. I don't think there is anything too exiting on them and I'm sure
that was the only TOTP. I have a short medium wave recording which I
used as filler on the cd when I digitised the TOTP, I'm trying to
identify it before I post it anywhere. It is live with different DJs
introducing each track so maybe something like the Melody Maker awards
shows..

who are quite excited about this because like I said it's a show that
doesn't exist in any other form. If you've any other clips lurking on
tapes anywhere it'd be great to hear them.

reel-to-reel (but I only had one tape) and then on a portable using 10p
cassettes from Boots. Most weeks I'd get my Mum on there asking me to
turn it down, and shouldn't-I-be-in-bed-anyway! I found a box of the
tapes when we moved house a few years ago, but think I probably binned
'em.

Old TOTP audio is always really appreciated as so little visual footage
from this era exists (complete shows anyway).

Presented by Jimmy Saville aided by Mickey Dolenz...
