Cheers. That's what happens when you cut and paste from another file without checking it properly...

Thanks for this; I remember really enjoying Premi at the time.
By the way, the Mooo link isn't quite correct - one has to go up a level to find the file.
Cheers

Some readers may recall that three years ago I got hold of some Peel material from a bloke at work:

Among the tapes I digitised were 27 minutes of a show featuring Premi in session. Most of Peel's links had been paused out. I didn't bother sharing it at the time because a) I wasn't sure of the broadcast date, and b) there wasn't much Peel on it.

Anyway, a bit later on the 400 Box produced 48 minutes of the show from 1 September 1987, which nailed the broadcast date. The tape I ripped had been coincidentally compiled from the same section of show. The source was FM radio and so provides an improvement in sound quality. I've finally got around to creating a new version of the download, mixing the better sounding music tracks
with Peel's links from the 400 box. This proved to be a bit fiddly, as the taper from the version I ripped often only started recording the tracks after they'd started. Although the source was FM, the tape suffered quite badly in places from dropouts. The Gang of Four track in the show was also on "my" recording, but it sounded so ropey that I've left the 400 box version in place.

As well as an improvement in sound quality, the new version extends the show by 3 minutes with the addition of a further Premi session track.

While I'm here, many thanks to Ray for his work on the show from 23 July 1979. Much appreciated!
