[peel] sleevenotes, etc

What a great idea! I have a copy of a 1967 John Mayall solo LP, 'The Blues Alone', which Peel wrote the sleeve notes for. However, he also wrote a few lines about each track on the LP, so there is a lot of typing, at least for my skill levels anyway. But I will try, maybe piecemeal.

Hi folks,

Been putting together a page at the wiki of record/cd sleevenotes written by Peel. Have made some progress, but don't have copies of many of the releases. If anyone does has a copy of any without quotes on the page (or other examples of Peel sleevenotes), please get in touch with sample snippets to be added or just go ahead put them to the page (click the red Edit button at the top):

Fans of Pentangle, JSD Band and the Fall are among those who may be able to help out. I'm positive I have a copy of the Bonzo Dog Band session release, but can't lay my hands on it despite hunting high and low.

Also over at the wiki, received a message from Charles Pates of patestapes.com, who currently has 20 peel shows up online (as we were already notified by Ken). Good news is that there's apparently another 138 left to upload, so might be worth keeping an eye on this site:

Finally, good to see Bill back - many thanks to him for the shows and everyone else who has shared stuff on here lately.

Cheers,

Steve
