[Dr Mango]

Hi everyone.

I recorded a number of sessions in the years 1989-96. Probably like most people, as soon as I'd got the session track down on tape my finger moved quickly for the pause button, usually after capturing Peel giving out the title. However, listening again recently to this recording I'd made at the time, I discovered that in addition to the session on that show I'd also recorded a couple of extra tracks, including a continuous section with complete Peel links at the end of the show. Inspired by Stuart's tapes, I thought this was worth sharing, especially since 1990 shows are sadly a bit thin on the ground. Material comprises 22 minutes of a 90 minute show.

Incidentally, the tracks I did bother to record are fairly indicative of the kind of thing that my then 20 year-old self was tuning into Peel hoping to hear!
