Really enjoyed this show, thanks a lot for your work in putting this
up. Some obvious choices, but I loved hearing His Guiding Hand again,
and I had never heard Liverpool 8 before. And I was surprised to hear
him play Freda Payne's Band of Gold. As he might have said (but never
did), one of the few hit songs about erectile dysfunction.
I always felt Peel was at his best in the late 70's, enthusiastic about
punk and post-punk, but still comfortable with the immediate past.
