Just finished playing this one. It's pretty OK audio quality, almost FM - I imagined I was listening in a place with no FM reception, like the Lake District or in a car - well done, thanks !

Yes, Peely mentions more than once that he likes the Godley & Creme song, and that he thinks it is Zappa-esque (the album, which he also liked) - doesn't sound like a Zappa-hater here, ha ha ... It's a good song, quirky. In 78 a lot of the 'old farts' had new-wave-ified their sound to a degree, esp. Bill Nelson.

The song by the Hits, "Crossroads" is great (and funny) - it's about someone addicted to the soap opera of that name, to the tune of 'I'm Waiting For my Man' ! Pity he had to end the show with a football terraces dirge though (yes, I am biased - Kum On Yoo Bloos).
