I actually remember it at the time, but missed the BBC 4 transmission... Great to see young Robert Lloyd.  I loved THE LIGGERS .. One of the great PEEL sessions (in my world...) but what I forgotten was the (rather stilted) interview with the journalist for "The Young Observer".. (You have no soul if you don't laugh out loud at our hero making sure the journalist scribes "Punk Revivalist" correctly) mentioning LETHAL DOSE.  LETHAL DOSE were the local (to me) punk band .. & very much of the "If the kids are united, they will never be very ... clever" school of PUNK.  I remember them supporting SPLODENESSABOUNDS at Surrey University about 3 months before this was transmitted & I can honestly say I have never seen a band finish a set so completely covered in gob.. Mostly generated by what appeared to be their mates..
