Hello there.

I posted a wole host of Peel shows on the box recently to try and generate some attention. (I did get told off for copying the wiki for each show without crediting the author Oops - Sorry Steve)

Anyway, I did get this message from Andy in Doncaster.

"Although I've been using thebox for a while,I've never thought about looking at Radio,I noticed you've upped quite a bit of Peelys magic stuff,if you're interested I have quite a few tapes from 1977 to probably 1981,with some of the festive 50's included.
Unfortunately I haven't the time to rip and upload them,if you're interested and think there are enough fans out there who want them,please let me know and we can try and work something out.They should be decent quality they were all recorded on Pioneer or Trio kit,some could even be metal tapes,the only snag is a track or two might be missed in the middle,my dad used to record them for me and the tapes had to be turned over, but all in all theres a few hours worth of the maestro to be saved"

Not quite a 400 box but high quality shows from 1977-81...mmmmmm

Anyway, I've pointed him to the group, and offered to rip them, (or someone near Doncaster coud meet up with him) so hopefully 2010 will continue the excitement of the last few years.
