They did a lot of those songs towards the end of TERRY & GERRY ...
I suppose "The Cossacks Of Cadbury Road" should be called "The Cossacks of Kraft Road" now... Hasn't got the same ring has it..
It's quite a lost art writing such ridiculously poppy tunes with overt political / social overtures
I'm fortunate to have the post T&G tunes & THE MAN UPSTAIRS stuff.. I think it was just the "Sad In My Heart" single released

WALTERS compared that night... PEEL complaining of a cold... Although I suspect that he was trying to avoid the immediate aftermath of ICA staffers having to deal with the SPK / BIG FLAME gig the night before with the infamous "riot" as a result of SPK only playing a couple of tunes after having a hissy about not being able to use their blow torch equipment on stage.. People demanding refunds etc.. Personally I felt they got their money's worth as BIG FLAME where breathtaking.... It's funny I thought health & safety was before my time... Evidently not

I am a fellow T&G bigtime fan so many thanks for that - did you pick up on my mixtape with ica concert.

I also have a cassette sent me by Gerry after their demise of non-released stuff including There should be more hatstand buying people in this world, cossacks of cavalry road and bias binding. Happy to rip if you don't have and I'm sure they wouldn't mind. One of my big life experiences was being introduced to Gerry's mum at their farewell London concert and being able to thank her for the joy her son had given me; she loked bemused but proud - so she would probably be even more bemused that peopel are still talking about her son's contribution to the world

Terry had a facebook page when I last looked ...

Found a vid of a favourite of mine TERRY & GERRY doing "Ballad of A Nasty Man" but at the end you see Walters & Peel demostrate the speed that you can become a skifle band.. Our hero is is showing as much gustless & Walters gusto....
