Decktician's logs/ Lux

Don't worry about this. It sounds to me like there is an internal audio edit in that Peel clip on Alan Bailey's 208 IT WAS GREAT website. But more to the point...

...Through correspondence with Alan since Paul Webster alerted me to the site/clip, I have discovered that it was Alan himself who produced all Peel's shows for Luxembourg! (he also told me that he resumed contact with john in latter years and was an occasional guest on Home Truths with some archive items he had found at luxembourg - eg Nazi propaganda recordings - missed that).

I sent him decktician's track listing for that show featuring the Jimmy Reed track and he replied that it "matches exactly my tape" - !?! - - - yes, he kept this one show complete on tape, has digitised it in full, and he has since told me he thinks he has one other complete show, undigitised, in his loft.

(pause for stunned silence/cheers all round)

- And it's another testament to Decktician's incredible accuracy in notetaking at 1am on a Saturday morning some 38 years ago! - for which again our thanks are due

...Well, it's good to know that some top quality audio record of the show does exist safely somewhere, and I shall remain in contact with Alan about details of tracklistings and dating via the wiki as we go along. You never know...

Was thinking this might be related to the New Look stuff and hoping it will resolve itself in time. Did have a brief problem yesterday accessing the wiki at one point, but that seemed to get sorted out pretty quickly.
