Interesting read! Funny the sessions he hated so much - the Slits; The Pop 
Group - were for me some of the defining moments of that era - so I think he 
did the right thing to leave when he did.

Peel always led the way when new musical styles came along - obviously it 
was not just sections of his audience that were left behind!
