Welcome, Mark!
You will find a very happy home here, especially if you come bearing gifts.
I presume you have seen the wiki - not only will you find a wealth of information but you can also check which shows are needed to continue the quest of making every Peel show ever recorded available online.
It is here:
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page
In addition I have many shows yet to be shared - perhaps we could share information off-list sometime to see if our collections include some of the same shows.
Best wishes,
Colin.

Erm Hi all,
I'm new to posting stuff on groups (and even newer to downloading) but I was a Peel listener for around 25 years and have some stuff on tape and minidisc that might be of interest to others. I've got about 40 or 50 shows on MD starting from the Festive Fifty shows of 1995. Most are full progs but some are just the 80 min duration of the MD. I've also got around 100 compilation tapes from 1980 onwards (I believe the young people of today refer to them as "mix" tapes) which are just my favourite tracks of the time but with no or limited comment from Peely. However, I did also sometimes fill the end of tapes with some of Peels wry comments (or Peelers as I used to call them). I put some Peelers on an MD and sent them to Andy Kershaw who used them on his shows (in 2006 I think).
So apart from a warning about my dilatory nature (I've been meaning to join the group since I read Ken Garner's sleeve notes to the excellent Kats Karavan compilation of last year) and limited spare time (blame the two year) I can hopefully help out with some Peel material.
regards,
Mark
