Like Humphey and Stuart I am an early 80s fan. Most of us seem to like the music of our 15-25 age period for the rest of our lives and look for sounds that are similar to our youth - I was born in 63 so 78 - 88 is my stylee - I am still a postpunk/indie [kid]old man- that is why Mr Peel was so unique - he moved with the times - I still can't quite believed he like the wave your hands in the air repetitive beat music that took hold in late 80s and seems to refuse to go away! But I still listened to Peel sporadically as I always thought he knew more than me about good music and I had to accept it as a personal blindspot! Yes I still listen to "modern music" but its the Vampire Weekends and the like that push my record buttons! Maybe Humphrey and Stuart are my age?
I haven't got round to doing any 400 tapes yet - a bit daunted. Maybe doing a tracklisting first would be easiest for me. How do I find out which need doing?
Mark
PS I still have a broken tape that I would love to be able to send to someone to fix in the UK as I am scared I will damage it beyond repair if I attack it with a penknife.

Thanks a lot for these !
I agree with a previous person who said that his preference is for 81 shows. My fave period is 75-ish to 82-ish. But any 80's is still
good ..... I never really liked that C86 stuff much to be honest ...
