SKIDS! Session #1 TV Stars has a John Peel mention in lyrics
ALTERED IMAGES!
ORANGE JUICE!

and ... SHEENA EASTON!

and I do know I am shouting but these must feature - how are they going to fit it all in?

Although Proclaimers and Champion Doug Veitch (bhundu boys scottish connection!) don't seem to have sessions I ma sure I wouldn't have heard of them without Peel

He also did an outside broadcast in 1981- R1 went to Scotland for teh week

I don't expect I'll be able to suggest anything that hasn't already occurred to Nick Tom and yourself, so I would hope the likes of the Scars, Josef K, Primevals would get a mention, as well as the bands JP supported even after they made it eg Simple Minds. Slightly off topic would be the fact that Radio Scotland and Radio Clyde also had sessions from local bands, Colin Sommerville/ Bily Sloan would be able to help out there. And of Course there was the Sounds of the Suburbs TV show..
