Hi Gordon,

Let me the first to say welcome aboard. Great news about the 1985 Peel show. I don't think there's too many floating around from that year at the moment.

As far as the sharing situation, it's probably simplest to upload the file(s) to one of the major services such as rapidshare or megaupload:
http://rapidshare.de/
http://www.megaupload.com/

Hopefully this should be easy enough. Once you receive the download link, you can post it to the mailing list and folks should be able to access it with no problem.

Would be great if you can document the show on the Wiki as well. To start a new tracklisting page, use can use the following link:
http://peel.wikia.com/wiki/Make_A_New_Tracklisting
Details on the page, but basically you Just fill in the date in the box and click on "Create New Tracklisting". This will make the new page for that date with the basic template to fill in. Don't worry if you can't do everything. Other people can always help out.

Cheers,

Steve W

I have however found one tape I labelled as "quite good peel show" for 4th Spetember 1985. It's the last 90 minutes and starts near the end of Mrs Miller warbling through "monday monday". I've converted it to 320kbs mp3, what is the process of uploading it and documenting it on the wiki?
