Dear all,

In the midst of the current bout of hugely enjoyable nostalgia dominating
this group at the moment, I thought it might be a good time at the beginning
of this new year to remind everybody about an excellent source of good new
music out there on the net.

Having just finished listening to the December output of
www.dandelionradio.com (apart from the Festive 50 ­ still waiting on the
hard drive), let me tell you it is an absolutely excellent set of shows. I
had previously avoided tuning in to Dandelion as my experience with streamed
broadcasts was poor, but thought I¹d give it a go. And boy was I pleased I
did. The range and mixture of music really refresh, and the DJs let the
music do their talking. Special mention must go to Jeff Grainger whose 3
hours put me in mind of JP¹s programmes.

So, once you have got through the latest batch of converted-from-cassette
shows from 25 years ago, have a listen to a station that gives us a chance
to hear music we (or at least I) wouldn¹t otherwise discover. You know JP
would approve.
