[peel] Daft question but... (Peel Out in the States)

They were never an official release. The copies floating around on CD were distribution to radio stations in the US in order to play the shows through syndication. I never really considered them to have the status of a real album. The one on ebay that you were looking at is the same format as the ones that were sent out in the mail, but from the photo, I swore it was a copy. Perhaps I'm wrong.

Check out the US Amazon website and you find five or six of them for about $7-13 a piece.

Are the "Peel Out in the States" CDs all bootlegs then? I always thought they were legitimate US releases, the radio shows certainly sound like Peel was recording them specifically for US broadcast. I have some on CD, but the easiest way to get them is from piratebay.org.

Dont buy that CD, its a terrible looking bootleg. The cover isn't even a quality print.

Bottom line, shows 3 & 4 of Peel Out in the States are owned by tons of people and well shared. In fact the torrent of shows 1-18 are still up on Pirate Bay.

The 'Peel out in the States' CD for sale on ebay - it's a bootleg right?? Im sure i'd have spotted and picked up such an item at the time if it weren't. Of course, by telling you lot, my
chances of buying it if it is bona fide are now pretty slim, but whatever...
