Just on Jimmy's point:

The Arsenal thing came first from the club's original home in Woolwich (actually
Plumstead), home to all kinds of military stuff (hence, "Gunners"), before their move across
the Thames to north London. Later, the tube station in the area of Islington that was home
to the new ground (Highbury) was renamed after the club.

This tidbit from a Liverpool fan with many bad memories of the "Gonners" beating the
mighty reds (LFC) down the years.

Cheers,

Steve W

arsenil? I don't believe in this new religion of football so could someone explain?
