John Peel Fall dedication

Thanks for this Lorcan58. I'll have to listen to it again.

Soon after posting that query, my computer went awol and has taken
nearly a month to get going again. I am now trying to catch up on
hundreds of emails and downloads.
Thanks once again to everyone who is providing these.

While mucking about with the computer, I decided to try and connect
my cassette deck up, and to get ripping myself.

Unfortunately, I'm not having much luck. Should I be able to connect
the deck directly to the computer, or do I need to go through an amp?
I've tried plugging it directly into a couple of different holes, and
in both cases I can hear the cassette through the computer's
speakers, but when I try to record in Audacity nothing happens - it
just 'flatlines'.

Anyone help?

Cheers

Alan
