On Thursday 14 May 1998, Half Man Half Biscuit were in session, and I
was doing my final university exams. Peel commented that he hadn't
received any faxes so far that night, and it happened that my room
mate and I had a fax machine, as we were charged with finding a band
to play at our graduation ball (we ended up getting My Drug Hell..).
Since my room mate had just had his first philosophy exam that day, we
faxed the question paper to Peel and he read out some of the questions
with appropriate scorn.. 

It was a fine moment, which I haven't heard for ten years.. does
anyone have a recording of that show? I'd be massively greatful if
someone could sort me out with an mp3.. apart from the philosophy, I
seem to remember the HMHB session was particularly fine (4 skinny
indie kids, secret gig,..)
