Hmm - 6 music obviously worried about the Festive 50 taking all their
listeners, so they've scheduled this as a spoiler!

<<With a whopping 18 winners this year it's likely that not all will respond
with appropriate postal details.  In such a case, do we have 'backup' winners
or just not send prizes?>>

I reckon we just send more of the CDs to those who do respond!

I always tell people who ask that we get 2 to 3 thousand hits a month (I
think I based this on the figures last January)

Just completed a 3-hour January show, with live sets from The Wedding Present
and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, plus a featured LP from Hazel Winter.
Really enjoyed doing this one despite pressure of deadlines - saw the Weds /
Pains tour in Oxford / Leicester / Manchester last weekend - have totally
ignored Xmas preparations so far - my relatives in Aus may be disappointed, but I
can at least recommend they listen to the show!

Also F50 section and associated bits recorded. All will be posted early
tomorrow morning, to Andy's new address!

For Alan:

"Puzzle" is a single by Das Wanderlust, a band from North East England, on
the "Don't Tell Clare" record label. It has done quite well in the 2008 Festive
50.

Radiohead are a band from Oxford. There is a remix competition for their
track "Reckoner" from the "In Rainbows" LP released late 2007, at
www.radioheadremix.com. The James Holden mix is the official remix that shows the others how
to do it! James Holden is one of the UK's top techno remixers / producers.

Horowitz are a band from Stoke-on-Trent. Their second session for my show was
recorded in June 2008, and includes the cover version of Jonathan Richman &
The Modern Lovers' song "Government Center"

Decoration are originally from Bolton, although now at least some of them
have moved to London, and have recorded sessions for Andy's show on Dandelion
Radio.

Cheers!
