Retrieving deleted recording

Hello Marcelle!
I use a program called "GetDataBack" to retrieve deleted items that
are no longer in the recycle bin.
There are different versions depending on whether your disk is
partitioned using Fat32 or NTFS (presuming you are using a Windows
computer!)
As mentioned earlier though, if your friend continues to use his
machine there is a good chance that the file will be overwritten
(for example when you load 'GetDataBack' on to your computer!).
The ideal situation is:
Buy an empty enclosure (box) for a USB pocket drive. Remove the hard
drive with the file from the computer and plug this into the empty
pocket drive enclosure.
On a different PC, install 'GetDataBack', plug in the pocket drive
and start 'GetDataBack'. Follow the instructions to investigate the
pocket drive and fingers crossed; restore your file! DO NOT restore
the file to the pocket drive! You might overwrite the file you are
trying to save!
(You can buy 'GetDataBack' and download from the 'net - a very
useful tool. An empty enclosure should cost less than 30 euros).

Good luck!

Dee Dee
