[peel] PEEL SESSIONS going cheap!

Although its not the place to admit it but as I only have a passing interest in the sessions I'm tempted by the cheap price.
I lurk here for the info on new music but also for snippets that might be gleaned for my obsessive interest in Kevin Coyne. In relation to him - I believe he must be one of the first artists to release some of his BBC sessions on album with tracks appearing on his 1977 release Beautiful Extremes.
Thru this group I was able to find a Nightingales session in which they covered Kevin's Good Boy - does the book list composer credits? I'd love to know if anyone else covered a Coyne song
  cheers

that's right, tony: thebookpeople have apparently bought a truck load
of copies of the book from the publishers and are flogging it in
their November catalogue & online - I even made the front page! - for
the ridiculous price of 4.99, for which kind of book club sales my
royalties my contract tells me will be pro rata, which at 5% means I
trouser a whopping 25p per sale. I don't care. This company only
stock and sell books they think they can shift tons of, and hence get
a huge trade discount on the price from the publishers. So if it
means more people who might like it get to know it exists, or their
loved ones get it for them for Christmas, I'm happy. My sister got a
copy in Hampshire, as did my Dad, and now you, so that's a good sign.
I reckon the way the direct mail industry works that catalogue must
have gone into more than half a million homes, so if just 3% of
households say their cat prefers it to shredded wheat, we'll sell
out. Mind you, they've already dropped it from their latest Christmas
special edition catalogue, which fell out of the Guardian on Saturday
